I just picked up a 1oz Engelhard silver bar and 5 - 1oz Engelhard American Prospector's silver rounds from 1985. They looked like they were minted yesterday. Showed them to a co-worker who's grandfather worked for Engelhard for almost 30 years. I saw tears in his eyes - he loved them and asked me to pick up a few for him - for memories.
I window shopped far too long on the vintage Monarch bars. Finally bought all could get my hands on. Thanks to the community for leaving these beauts for me; you all are too kind. Great inventory SBS! Thanks again for curating all these vintage gems for us -- you're one of a kind.
