For this listing, you will receive one (1) 1oz Engelhard Industries of Canada vintage .999 fine silver bar produced by Engelhard. The bar you will receive is one of the earliest known varieties of Engelhard bars in existence. Production began on these sought after bars in 1968 and continued through the early 1970's according to AllEngelhard. The bar you will receive is no more than 17,500 minted and as low as mintage in the HUNDREDS making it guaranteed to be highly collectible and sought after. There are some variations of the Engelhard Industries of Canada bars that are as low as 100 MINTED (ONE HUNDRED!). Unfortunately, we do not possess one of those elusive bars, but we do possess Engelhard Industries of Canada bars with mintages as low as 250 made. For this listing, we will select a Canadian style Engelhard Industries of Canada 1oz bar and the bar style and mintage will be based on our availability and cannot be specifically requested. The bar you receive may vary in condition and the serial number may be different from any of the pictured serial numbers. The reverse will be a blank back but it is possible that the example you receive may contain custom after-market etching as can be seen in one example in the listing photos.
