However, SBS is proud to offer this beautiful vintage bar which features a unique E Logo with Bullhead and Engelhard Australia stamp on the proof-like obverse and a frosted reverse that demonstrates two full hallmarks in an ascending diagonal pattern. According to our research done on AllEngelhard.com, there are only 1,500 Engelhard Australia 1oz pressed bars that exist in the world and, there are only 500 bars of this particular type that were minted! This 2nd series bar is unique in that it features a more reflective obverse surface finish and a keen eye will note the letter “G” matches that of the 1st series and that the stamping detail is more crisp. This is an extremely rare opportunity to purchase a uniquely obscure vintage Engelhard bar.
