***For this listing, the buyer will receive an SBS Prospector Pack, which features a total of two (2) items in similar condition. The first is a vintage 1984 Engelhard American Prospector 1oz Silver Round featuring the highly sought after 'E' Logo. The second is a similar vintage American Prospector round from 1984 also produced by Engelhard, but it features the iconic 'Silver Eagle' logo. These set of 1984 Prospector rounds is extremely unique, because 1984 was the only year that Engelhard produced two different reverses on the Prospectors. 1984 was not only the last year that Engelhard featured the 'E' logo on their Prospector Rounds, but it was also the first year that they introduced the iconic 'Silver Eagle' logo, just two short years before the US Mint released the now-popular American Silver Eagle in 1986. It is estimated, according to AllEngelhard.com, that there are less than 75,000 minted of each of these rounds, making them increasingly difficult to come by over time. This is a wonderful opportunity for any collector looking to add a piece of vintage history to their collection. The items in the photo may or may not be the one's you receive, but they will be of similar quality. Because these are vintage rounds that are decades old, there may be some scratches, blemishes, discoloration, rim damage, or other marks that may be consistent with it's age.
