Set of 2x Types of SilverTowne 2nd Series 5oz Poured .999 Fine Silver Bar Ingots
 
Up for sale, we have a lot of two (2)  2nd Series SilverTowne 5oz Poured Silver Bars. These 2nd series 5oz class ingots were produced in both lined-reverse (pictured) and flat-reverse throughout the serial number range with both standard and inverted serial numbers (both serial types included in this lot). This 2nd series ingot measures slightly narrower than the 1st series, at approximately 49.21mm x 19.05mm. SilverTowne used many slightly different casting moulds and cooling trays in their production of these ingots. In an All Engelhard case study of 100 2nd series ingots, 30 examples were found with inverted serial numbers of random serial range assignment. This suggests the inverted serial assignment was perhaps a production oversight, though not terribly uncommon. Mintage estimate on these inverted serial number examples is <2,250 of the total <7,500 produced. For this listing, you will receive two (2) 5oz silver bars and you will specifically receive the two pictured bars (one featuring a standard serial number and the other featuring an inverted serial number). The bars pictured are the exact bars you will receive and you will receive the same serial numbers. Due to their age, the bars will exhibit some imperfections, including but not limited to scratches/smudges, discoloration/toning, and other similar blemishes.
